“The love for all living creatures is the most noble attribute of man.” - Charles Darwin
Today, March 3rd, is known as #WorldWildlifeDay. A day in which we celebrate, and raise awareness of the vigorous efforts still needed to be made to protect endangered wildlife + address the ongoing major threats to our planet’s creatures, like climate change, over-exploitation + illicit trafficking. This year's theme is “Listen to the Young Voices.”
In November, after adopting a Sea Lion through the World Wild Life Fund, we had the most magical experience of encountering California Sea Lions in their natural habitat over at King Harbour Marina in Redondo Beach. These fetid, yet fascinating creatures are extremely vulnerable to the effects of climate change.
So what can we do to make a difference?
