Spice Up Your Life | Natural Remedies for Cold/Flu Season

Though this winter has been pretty mild in Southern Ontario, the constant change in temperature has confused my (already weak) immune system. The +15 temperatures in mid-February seemed promising, until it was followed up by a hard-hitting -30 with-the-windchill day. As if my insides weren't already confused, having dealt with reoccurring kidney infections since late summer, the up and down thermostat has resulted in me having more sick days than healthy ones. Because of this, I am always trying new, natural remedies to end my battle early on! My most favourite of the 'natural medicines' would have to be: spices! Yes, the earth's gift to your body. Here are a few of my favourites and what they do for your health.
